Amelia Nickle

Amelia Nickel has worn many hats throughout her time with the company, now as the Director of Operations of the Highlander Hotel. She is the Jack of All Trades and can solve any problem and put out any fire. Without her, neither hotel would be what it is today.

Dylan Paulk

Dylan brings a great level of energy, passion, and expertise to The Highlander each day. Whether he’s welcoming guests with a warm smile and friendly conversation or working behind the scenes to ensure a seamless experience, Dylan goes above and beyond. He’s dedicated to making every guest’s visit enjoyable while also mixing up some of the tastiest drinks in town.

Angela Harrington

The President, CEO, and commander in Chief of Catalyst Hospitality. This badass woman owns the Highlander Hotel, one of two woman-owned hotels in Iowa, and guess what? She also owns the other one. This lifelong entrepreneur vows never to stay in a chain hotel, ever.

Maizy Burk

As Marketing Manager at Catalyst Hospitality and The Highlander Hotel, Maizy is passionate about sharing the rich history and unique charm of this iconic, beautifully restored property. Her work ensures the Highlander's story connects with guests, inspiring them to create lasting memories at one of the coolest destinations in the state for generations to come.
